May 2001 - Election time.
Yes folks, it's that time again, time to scratch your heads and ask your-big-political-selves that oh-so-important question - 'who ya gonna vote for?'
Well I don't know about you, but I can't help but admire a man who isn't afraid to expose his manifesto, like William Hague of williamhague.com (this site was disappointingly void of key graphics when I last visited , but I am actively lobbying him to make the necessary repairs).
Another Tory who has embraced the World Wide Web and made it her very own 'Widdy Web' is the one and only Anne 'Widdy' Widdecombe. As it's election time, somebody seems to have spotted the opportunity to sell her electannwiddecombe.com invoking the temporarily disablement of the usual content of her now famous site annwiddecombemp.com. Ann fans will be relieved to know the temporary election site does feature a photo gallery. (Not to be confused with annwiddecombe.org which is just odd).
Well the Tories may still be in with some chance of winning the general election, but New Labour definitely win the IAMSAD funniest piss-take web site award with www.mylittletony.com
Liberals feeling left out? Nothing new there then, but in the spirit of token media equality I can point out that Charlie Kennedy does feature along with Tony, Billy and others, (even Maggie! - remember her?), in the interactive Splat The MP game.

Normal service should soon be restored.
It's time to get up to date. I've loads of new links to review, and the directory of all my sad favourites to reinstate, so here's a bunch from my in-tray to get things rolling:
engrish.com - various TV programmes have featured humourously named oriental products and unfortunate signage mis-translations, and this site features little else, but don't let that put you off - you just might happen upon one of those gems that makes you wish you'd waited until you were away form the office.
Some web sites are good
Some web sites are sad
Some web sites feature poetry
That's just unfuckingbelievably bad.
Which of these categories, if any, Through The Eyes Of Mike Conner falls under is something only you can decide.
Sad News: "It is with great sorrow that the Test Card Circle reports the news of the death on 11th April 2001 of George Hersee, the creator of Test Card F."
Genuine headline at the Test Card Circle at time of writing, (May 17 2001).
